Our Story

Founded by industry innovator Rod Herrick in 2010, Roddie Inc. began with a simple mission: create trenchless tools that are easier to use, easier to transport, and built to perform in real‑world jobsite conditions. From day one, we set out to solve the everyday challenges underground utility contractors face—tight spaces, tough soils, and demanding timelines.

Our first breakthrough, the original PB40 pipe bursting machine, quickly became a trusted solution for crews who needed reliable power in compact work areas. As the industry evolved, so did we.
